i was ecstatic! it gave me such a high that i wanted to treat people to ice cream. (good thing the feeling passed.)
i pricked my finger on the needle of course, but that doesn't make me any less proud (i was expecting more gore, after all). i can imagine how awkward i must have looked, because i know how awkward my hands felt as i tried my darndest to do it right and not go running to my aunt for help.
now i'm tempted to pop buttons off my blouses just for the excuse to practice. also to post a step-by-step
so let me direct you instead to the article i'd loosely based my methods on -- loosely because i actually forgot the last steps and thus had to improvise with my own -- and wish you well if you ever find yourself in a similar conundrum. happy sewing!: )
lala - give me your alterations; cory - okay!! get ready for an armload coming your way dearie!!! :D (you asked for it!!! hihihihihi)
