for all its faults, pasay does have heartbreaking sunsets.
on my way home yesterday, the street markets of taft were squalid but vibrant. heard through the music of my mp3 player, the sound was busy, a trippy cacophony. felt through the wind on my face, the air was cool and bore the unleashed excitement of after-five journeys. felt through my ballet flats, the ground was uneven, often sharp, and sometimes damp.
oh what an experience it was, to see a city come alive after dark.
When you say it that way, you make it sound like it's more fun in the philippines.
