for days now i've been slaving over a foreword for a catalogue of philippine design manufacturers, a post-event collateral that was supposed to be distributed to our trade buyers sometime oh, around any day now lang naman. scratch that,
dinudugo ako sa foreword na ito. as with all of the things i don't see the point of (since it is very likely that the boss - the signatory - will scrap every last letter anyway and have it changed to an entirely different angle, with the correct data and emphatic story points that i currently have to miserably make up as i plod along), and can't rightly call my own, i can't for the life of me figure out how to end this certain copy material. everything i've written so far sounds like it doesn't need to be written and therefore doesn't deserve to be read.
i just don't want to, period. i have nothing to say!
if i can't write my way out of nothing, which is what this cyber space has been about all along, then something is off here, my friends. if i can do a rambling blog post in less than 15 minutes and feel like i have something more to say here than i ever have with that foreword, then maybe it's a sign that i ought to be doing something else.
like have coffee. coffee sounds good right now. anything but taking up slack.
